Weekly Update: January 8, 2025
Word from the Pastor:
I pray this weekly Newsletter finds you doing well, and staying warm!
Last week we accomplished three things: talked about Epiphany, set our intentions for the new year, and began our journey into the life of Jesus through the Gospel of John. If you missed last week's message, you can find it HERE.
This week, I want to share how Epiphany reminds us of the light breaking into darkness—the revelation of Christ to all people. John’s Gospel is perfect for this season, addressing various groups from Judaism: those who followed Jesus, John the Baptist, or still clung to the law. John’s cosmic story of Jesus brings light and hope to a struggling community in Ephesus. May this season inspire us to shine brightly, spreading hope, healing, and unity. See you Sunday!
