Word from the Pastor:

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope and pray this newsletter finds you well. This year was the first year Sarah and I literally saw the new year in and stayed up past midnight.  We were able to reconnect with some old friends we had pastored a long time ago, and it was a great time.

I'm excited to begin the new year.  Over the past year we have journeyed through the Epistle of Jame to get a look into Church 101.  We took several months to embrace the core teaching of Jesus known as the Sermon on the Mount.  Last month, through Advent we looked at the extreme and subversive hospitality that should mark the people of God, in the Book of Ruth.  I want to begin this year talking about intention and look into the life of Jesus, the very one we were meant to model to and follow in the world around us.

We'll see you Sunday!
